Crooked River Writer is located on the banks of the Cuyahoga River in Munroe Falls, Ohio, a tiny city between Akron and Cleveland. Our main focus is technical writing, specializing in automotive topics, although we commonly provide words and images to a broader client base with diverse needs.

About the River
The name Cuyahoga is derived from an Indian word meaning Crooked River. The Cuyahoga earns its moniker as it meanders southward from its source, before reversing direction and snaking northward until it empties into Lake Erie at Cleveland.

Its 100 mile journey creates a watershed that drains six counties and the scenic Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP). For those of us fortunate to live in its beauty, the Cuyahoga Valley is a precious gift to be enjoyed and protected.
